We are delighted to announce that Robin Hood Lane has been designated as a Yellow Fever Centre! This means that we can now offer the Yellow Fever vaccine to both our registered patients and those who aren’t registered with us.
What is Yellow Fever?
Yellow Fever is a serious viral infection that is spread by mosquitoes in certain parts of the world, including Africa and South America. It can cause severe symptoms such as fever, headache, jaundice, and in some cases, can be life-threatening. Travellers to affected areas are often advised to get vaccinated against Yellow Fever.
How to Get Vaccinated at Robin Hood Lane
If you are planning a trip to a country where Yellow Fever is a risk, you can now get your vaccination right here at Robin Hood Lane. However, please note that this is a private service and is not covered by the NHS, so there will be a cost associated with the vaccination, similar to what you would pay at a Travel Clinic.
To find out if you need the Yellow Fever vaccine for your upcoming trip, please visit the NHS website: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/yellow-fever/vaccination/
